SUMMARY

Under basic supervision, provides experienced assistance in preparation of food at large MPS food preparation kitchens, and at satellite kitchens; prepares and serves food, cleans food service facilities and dining areas, operates a cash register/service terminal, orders and stores food, and maintains inventory and production records.

Education, Training and Experience Guidelines

High School diploma or GED equivalent; AND two years experience in large scale food preparation, MPS or other public schools experience is preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

A valid North Dakota State Driver’s License may be required. Training and certification in food safety and sanitation through the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction is required.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in various MPS food preparation and distribution facilities.
